New Cooler Bag for Work!

So my most recent TJmaxx find is one of my favorites! They have these awesome cooler bags that look cute and fashionable almost like second purse

Its by a company called fit fresh and It comes with a larger sandwich cooler that has an ice pack in it as well as a smaller one for fruit 

I also find that the cooler bag is pretty big I can honestly fit both containers and a 32oz. water bottle which is perfect to bring to work with me and will be great for school if I need to bring a meal to go some days. 

So ultimately I would recommend looking in to this awesome cooler bag especially if you are someone who likes to bring a packed lunch to work keeps you eating clean and from going out to lunch because you know you have a great lunch packed in your adorable convenient bag

Also just a side note my new favorite outdoor activity Kayaking!! I love it! My parents just got one and I went for the first time yesterday and I had such a great time its relaxing just you your kayak and the water

May Favorite Things!

Is it just me or did the month of May fly by!! I can't beleive its already June, and I have a feeling that this month will fly by just as fast.

The month of May was very eventful for me though I Graduated from College, Moved out of My appartment, Got my Wisdom Teeth out and a whole lot more. I was constantly running around a busy but I still managed to find a few things that really stuck out ass my favorite things from May. Now this is my first post like this so essentially at the end of every month I plan on explainng what my favorite things were from that month and why they were my favorites it will range from food, to make up to clothing to random items. 

First Favorite is the Lotion from St. Ives , I am a huge St. Ives fan and I love this lotion is great as a hand lotion as well as on your body most recently I have been applying it to my sun burn and it makes the dryness of the sunburn feel amazing. 

Next I have been LOVING rasberries they are probably my favorite fruit and this is the perfect time of year to buy them I bought a Jumbo pack on friday and they are almost all gone because I just cant help but to be constantly eating them 

Now these chips my mom doesnt really like them but i love them they Kind of taste like veggie chips and I really like them they are made naturally and are only 100 calories a serving. 

This month i have been reading Jillian Michaels Slim for Life (yes the obsession with Jillian continues lol) But I really do love this book it provides easy steps to follow and is very simple to understand and use. 

my current game obsession is candy crush I am stuck on level 33 and cant beat it!!! all the other levels I have three stars on because I have this weird OCD where I have to get three stars before I can move on. Weird I know 

While it is way too hot to light a candle right now earlier in the month when we had a few chilly days I was loving my market Peach candle from Bath and Bodyworks it smells amazing!!! 

Lastly the nail polish that I have been wearing all month long is coral reef by Sally Hansen Xtreme wear and I love it, it is the perfect summery color.

Its Starting to Feel Like Summer

As I sit here listening to Country Music with the sun shining through the back window I am so happy the rain has moved on and it is starting to really feel like summer is here! I am putting together a summer playlist and CD and getting ready to visit Eddie for a few days, so there are sure to be some adventures with the weather being nice and heading back to New York for a few relaxing days. 

I also hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial day and took a moment to think about those who are currently serving our country and those who have served us in the past. I really enjoyed the towns parade in the morning which was the perfect place for remembrance and honoring those who have served our country

My memorial day was very nice got to spend it with a lot of my family hanging out and bbqing my favorite dish which was actually on the healthy side was one that my mom it was a delicious tomato basil and mozzarella salad and compared to the endless potato salad, pasta salad, potato chips, taco dip ect. it was one of the better options to consumes ( while I will admit that I did indulge in some pasta salad because its one of my favorites). 

and finally I am so excited because I took some time to enjoy the sun although I regret the extent this morning because I am a bit burnt as you can see

My Favorite Spring and Summer Nail Polishes

As spring is approaching one of my favorite things to do is brighten up my nail polish and go from the darker colors to so bright pinks and colorful nail polish. For this reason I am going to share with you a few of my favorite spring colors that are in my nail polish collection 

So starting with my pinki is the first color on the left of the first picture (hopefully that makes sense...) So on my pinki is Essie Your Hut of Mine which is a really great shimmery rose color in between and coral and a red I guess I would say. Next on my ring finger is a purple lilac color from Essie which I dont have the exact color name for unfortunatly I have had the color for awhile and beyond just my spring and summer favorites it is definitly one of my all time favorites. On my middle finger is a mint green from Essie called Turquoise and caicos this is another one of my all time favorites. My pointer finger has a light baby blue from NYC called Cashmere and Creme this brand is one of my favorites for inexpensive nail polishes I generally always find a color I like.Lastly is my thumb which is a bright pink from Nars called Schiap this is actually the color I am wearing right now (Even though I really considered keeping this every nail a different color thing, unfortunatly I am not that bold) 

These last two colors are my most recent purchases of nail polish on the left is Sally Hansen Coral Reef which I have been wearing non stop!! (except for right now) and on the right is a metalic blue/teal from Sephora by Opi called Mermaid to Order, this color I really love for going out at night because its metalic and when I go out I tend to wear basic color so this and really all of these colors really add something to my outfits.

DIY Studded Shorts!!!

I have been pretty excited to do othis for awhile now so I was excited these arent spikey studding or anything but I like the way it came out 

So Heres how I did it. 

Step one grab an old pair of shorts and get some push pin type studs from Michaels or any craft store I found them in the scrapbooking section 

These worked really well because they pushed right through the jeans 

Next you take the pins and push them through the jean each backing has two tongs i guess and pull them appart to secure them 

Push through 

Pull appart

Flatten out and secure 

and tada I dont know how many pins later and a few pokes in the finger and this is the final product :) 

Cannot wait to wear these!!!
